| DCU Snowboarding was formed 5 years ago, with the aim of promoting the new sport of snowboarding in the college.
On our first ever Clubs & Socs day the club swelled to over 350 members, and has been growing ever since.
We took 55 people away to the snowy slopes of Morzine, it proved to be a roaring success with everybody who travelled with us having the holiday of their lives. And have since travelled to Pas de la Casa, Soldeu and Alpes d'Huez .We also managed to bring people Ice-skating to the R.D.S. as well as organise paintball and go-kart trips.

Dcu Snowboarding says: "I miss snow  " (13 weeks ago) me too!The Other Half Of Me | | More about me | The following few years saw the club grow and grow, and change to a society (mostly for the money  ) Now it has become one of the biggest and most active societies on campus. Weekly training sessions in Kilternan as well as the occasional Board Jam, keep our season snow addicts in check while they wait on the snow season to arrive, while giving our ‘newbies’ the chance to learn the tricks of the trade. With all the college work around, the committee understand the need to blow off some steam once in a while and organise events such as the highly successful Paddy’s Ball, the Rat Pack Night, and regular nights out.
